Mangrove Island Watamu

Itinerary

Welcome to the Watamu day trip by glass boat. We call it a sea adventure. The journey begins between 9:00 am and 9:30 am and lasts until 16:00 hrs. We first visit the KWS (Kenya Wildlife Service) office for verification and tickets. Our first activity will be dolphin spotting for 45 minutes. Then we go snorkeling for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. We are going to offer snorkeling masks. If you can’t swim, we offer life jackets, and our captain will show you how to swim. After snorkeling, we head to Garoda Beach for relaxation, photos, and swimming for the kids. Garoda Beach is one of the best beaches in Watamu. After swimming, we head to Caterpillar Island for our seafood BBQ lunch. On our way to the island, we will have a glimpse of the great white egret, known as the white heron. The island is covered by mangroves, and it’s a great time for nature lovers. We will have Giriama Dance. After the dance, we go back home.
